Let's be honest, we all hate the "standard mass touristy" tours, right?! That's why we started Dutch Boat Tours. We felt like this beautiful UNESCO protected area could use a real tour, with a cool and knowledgeable tour guide, tailored information to the needs of the group and a luxury comfortable boat. We are a young company that does things differently, but still in a high quality way. We limit our tours to a maximum of 12 people and keep the tours as fun and interactive as possible. Board a comfortable mini van and you’ll be taken to the famous Zaanse Schans where you will see the original still working Dutch windmills. If you fancy you can visit some of the well known museums. A nice asset to this trip will be your encounter with millers when you are strolling down the Zaanse Schans. You can glance over their shoulder while they are performing their crafts. You”ll learn how the typical wooden clogs are made and why the Dutch traditionally wore them. You will also see how cheese is made.

Enjoy a half day tour to the most beautiful flowers of Holland at the Keukenhof. Over 7 million bulbs will bloom this spring, with a total of 800 varieties of tulips. A unique, unforgettable experience!

We are going to walk on the Zaanse Schans. I am a certified guide and will give you a lot of information about the highlights. The walk shows you the Albert Heijn museum shop, the wooden shoe factory and the cheese factory, and we will taste cheese and of course to the windmills (entrance not included € 5.00 pp per adult per mill, € 2.50 pp per child per mill ). You can indicate which windmill (s) you want to visit.
